After studying business administration, Axel Haas managed his first own company at the age of 28 as part of a corporate succession.

In 1995, he founded an investment company that acquired a total of forty medium-sized companies by 2005. As chairman of the board, he successfully brought them to the capital market. Until 2010, he held various supervisory board mandates and worked as an independent consultant.

In 2011, Axel Haas recognized the great future potential of Arend Prozessautomation GmbH and took over the company's succession as managing partner. With his know-how from 35 years of experience, he is shaping its future in the course of the comprehensive digitalization project Industry 4.0.

He passes on his knowledge and expertise to the younger generation:

As part of an honorary professorship, he teaches SME economics and entrepreneurship at the Ukrainian American CONCORDIA University - WIUU - in Kiev and the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University - also in Kiev.

In addition, he holds a visiting professorship in business management at the University of Trier.

The highly qualified businessman has been with AREND GmbH since 2018 and is the networker of our company. In his more than 30 years of sales experience, he developed a deep understanding of the global market. He now brings this know-how into the company as a sales manager.

He supports internal as well as external communication between customers, partners and employees and ensures that projects run smoothly. As a result, the company benefits from a strong network of partnerships.
